            The one time Connor bought Abby flowers they set his allergies off so badly he spent the entire night sneezing, and she had to throw them away.  

            When he gave her chocolates, she muttered something about a diet, and Sid and Nancy ate most of them.

            The time he tried to cook a romantic dinner, he didn’t notice Rex stealing the garlic until it was too late, and Abby was already yelling.

            When he stayed up all night comforting the sick lizard, feeling guilty and miserable, Abby saw him in a new light, and curled up beside him until morning.
