Done it! This is my fic for the hc_bingo April challenge, which needed to be a crossover of at least two fandoms, and contain one or more of the prompts, 'insomnia', 'post-traumatic stress disorder', 'phobias', and 'medication'. I had hoped to include two of the prompts, but in the end only managed one. Also, I appear to have written Casualty fic again. Crossed with Atlantis, of all things!
Title: The Man in Cubicle Seven
Pairing/characters: Charlie Fairhead, Cal Knight (Casualty), Jason (Atlantis)
Warnings: Major character death, attempted suicide, depression, PTSD, mental health issues, language. I think after that lot, ‘angst’ rather goes without saying...
Spoilers: Spoilers for Atlantis 2.9 – The Gorgon’s Gaze, some general ones for series 2.
Disclaimer: Not mine. BBC and Urban Myth Films own Atlantis, the BBC owns Casualty.
Word count: approx 1848
Summary: He wasn’t sure what it was that made him want to see the man for himself, but Charlie’s gut instinct was telling him this was not a patient who should be left alone for too long.
AN: Future fic. Sort of goes AU after the end of Atlantis episode 2.9. You probably don't need to know anything about Casualty other than that it is a British drama set in a hospital A&E department.
AN2: Fills the hc_bingo April challenge for a crossover fic featuring the prompt ‘post-traumatic stress disorder’.
AN3: I’m sorry!!!! The challenge made me do it!
