9. Oh god, not the inspiration question! I have no idea. Actually, at the moment, it's not so much inspiration and more me actively spending time thinking about what I could do to fill hurt/comfort bingo prompts, so I go with a theme/prompt and start thinking around it until I hit on an idea that I like.

When I'm not doing h/c bingo prompts, I mostly come to stories by way of absently pondering 'I wonder what X character(s) would do in this situation', or 'I wonder what would happen if I did this to X character(s)'? And then if the idea appeals I run with it.

11. I honestly don't know! Maybe my grasp of pov has sorted itself out, because way, way back in the mists of time when I wrote my first fic (Stargate SG1), when I read it back years later I realised the pov was all over the bloody place, jumping from one character to another within scenes and all sorts. Since then I have very much developed the style of only one pov per scene, and sticking to it. This does require a teeny bit more planning of which scenes are best from which character's pov before I start writing them, but I do much prefer fics written with limited pov, rather than head hopping all over the place.

24. Lol, yes! When I was writing Five Days/Three Years, I did tonnes of research on wilderness survival and field first aid (particularly with a leaning towards military survival and first aid techniques) and SAS weaponry, in order to write Connor and Ryan surviving in the Jurassic. And that was on top of the Jurassic environment and wildlife research, although I don't really count that because it was just rather more specific and focussed research in my already quite extensive repertoire of dino knowledge, lol!

I'm not sure how I would answer the inspiration question either, lol, except prompts? *g* I get ideas from super random things, like I was reading a Finn/Poe fic a couple of nights ago and there was this line in it, and suddenly I'd written 200 words of Ben/Poe, ha.

I think random POV switching plagues a lot of early writers! I remember in particular a scene I wrote years and years ago where I'd suddenly switched POV at the end and I remember looking back at it and thinking, WHY, SELF? *g* It gets super confusing as a reader if you're constantly trying to figure out whose head you're in now.

I was always very impressed by Five Days/Three years, so the research paid off, lol!
