This is Captain Becker.

There are many things that you can say to describe him, but Matt summed him up perfectly after only one meeting – “He *really* likes guns.”
So who better to take us on a tour of the armoury and show us what are the best weapons for fighting dinosaurs and looking cool?
Firstly, he’s a big fan of his shotgun.

It’s very good for shooting dinosaurs and other creatures.

But even more importantly, it’s exceedingly good for posing with. And extremely subtle, of course.

But sometimes the shotgun just isn’t what a situation needs, so Becker is always willing to branch out. He’s also a fan of the pistol.

Pistols are actually quite good for being shouty.

And angry.

Or maybe not so angry.

Although here he just looks confused. Possibly because the gun isn’t big enough.

When he absolutely has to, he’ll use an assault rifle, but it’s not his favourite gun.

No matter how hard he tries, assault rifles just aren’t as good for posing with.

See, the shotgun is much better.

Unfortunately, Matt introduced the EMD guns. Becker isn’t a fan of these at all, although it does mean that Abby is less inclined to shout at him for killing the creatures. She’s stopped threatening to shoot him, as well, which is always a bonus.

So there are *some* advantages to the EMDs. And they look better than the assault rifle, at least.

Of course, it’s possible that what Becker most dislikes about the EMDs is that he keeps being shot with them.

Sometimes twice in one day.

No, he definitely prefers his shotgun

But, much as Becker loves his guns, sometimes other weapons are called for. For instance, he’s pretty handy with a flamethrower.

He can improvise when necessary. MacGyver would be proud.

He’s not bad in a fist fight, either.

He’s even handy with explosives.

But he’s less happy with bombs, especially when they’re about to blow him up.

But despite all this, There is one weapon that Becker would absolutely *love* to get his hands on that the armoury just doesn’t have.
“A tank?”

“What, really? A *tank*?”

Lester: “You can’t have a tank!”
